Terms of Service

1. Service Description

CutCourier is a cloud storage service that allows you to:

• Upload files and folders directly to Amazon S3 storage
• Download your files without compression or format changes
• Organize files in projects and folders
• Share access with team members through organizations
• Manage permissions with 7 different access levels

2. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• You must be at least 13 years old to use CutCourier
• One person or legal entity may not maintain more than one free account

3. Your Files and Data

Ownership

• You retain all ownership rights to your files
• You grant us limited rights to store and transmit your files as necessary to provide the service
• You have full control to download, delete, or modify your files at any time

Storage on Amazon S3

• Files are stored in Amazon S3 with enterprise-grade security
• Direct uploads to S3 using temporary, secure credentials
• No intermediate servers or file processing
• Files maintain their original format and quality

Your Responsibilities

• You must have the right to upload any files you store
• You may not upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content
• You are responsible for maintaining backups of important files

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Store or distribute copyrighted content without permission
• Use the service for illegal activities
• Attempt to access other users' files without authorization
• Circumvent storage limits or security measures
• Resell or redistribute the service without permission

5. Organizations and Teams

• Organization owners have full control over projects and members
• 7 permission levels available: Owner, Admin, Manager, Editor, Contributor, Viewer, Guest
• Organization owners are responsible for their members' activities
• Members can only access projects they've been granted permission to

6. Pricing and Payment

• Free trial: 7 days with 5GB storage
• Standard pricing: €220 per TB uploaded
• Pay only for uploads - unlimited downloads
• Volume discounts available for larger purchases
• Prices may change with 30 days notice
• No refunds for unused storage

7. Service Availability

• We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance
• File availability depends on Amazon S3 service status
• We are not responsible for internet connectivity issues

8. Privacy and Security

• We handle your data according to our Privacy Policy
• All file transfers are encrypted
• Files are encrypted at rest on S3
• We do not access your files unless required for support (with your permission)

9. Intellectual Property

• CutCourier name, logo, and software are our property
• You may not copy, modify, or reverse engineer our software
• We respect intellectual property rights and expect you to do the same

10. Termination

• You can cancel your account at any time
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Upon termination, you have 30 days to download your files
• After 30 days, your files may be permanently deleted

11. Disclaimers and Limitations

• Service provided "as is" without warranties
• We are not liable for data loss or corruption
• Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months
• We are not responsible for third-party services or content

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CutCourier from any claims arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Sweden.
